Great news! The collector’s edition Resident Evil 6 set is available for preorder! With it you get a Zombies book, army patches, a hoody, an art book and a lovely display box for it all.

How much will it cost for this vast array of gifts? A measly £129.99 and it is yours! Yes it is a bit steep, ok very steep, but you do get some cool memorabilia, that if you have a Resident Evil collection already, would be a nice addition.

But justifying this is a difficult feat. The game promises to be a spectacular treat, that’s for sure. But how much am I going to wear a Tall Oaks jumper?

Probably never.

So it doesn’t make sense that they have priced it out of most people’s budget when there is nothing really worthy in the package.

For now I will stick to the preorder of the normal version, and I am sure that I won’t regret this decision. As avid of a fan as I am, Capcom have dropped the ball a little bit here.

Hopefully they will see the error of their ways and will drop it down to a more reasonable price, in which case I wouldn’t have a problem with investing. Only time will tell.
